Absolutely terrific article, which is why I love reading Medium. This one could easily stand up in NYT or other papers still publishing long-form pieces. I'm not a particular Madonna fan (tho I loved Ray of Light) but she is a unique person, brimming with both narcissism and creativity. She has reinvented herself, but it's hard to tell if she pivots or commits to a different road. I've never considered her a feminist, more of a badass really.
