After spending a lifetime losing and gaining weight, I've learned that blood sugar control is key. I can't tolerate many carbs, and usually eat keto -- otherwise, I get fat. I wish it were otherwise, but I've tried every diet on the planet and I'm super sensitive to sugar and processed carbs and, really, any carbs. I can get "addicted" to plain oatmeal. What I do would work for anyone but the fact is, most people do not want to give up cake, pizza, and cookies on a regular (weekly or daily) basis. My choices are: be fat and at risk for diabetes, be thin with a restricted diet, or go on drugs.
