American right-wingers have never lived under a dictatorship. They are naive and easily conned, and their devotion to Trump despite his legal mess and all the time that's passed since he had any real power sends chills down my spine. He could easily win again, and what's worse, this coagulated block of ignorance and violence known as MAGA seems to have a life of its own.
