Boy does this explain a lot about me. I am very precise in language but I've learned to never use "big words." I've learned to act repentant when I say something I can tell (because I'm hypervigilant) is "wrong." I've learned to communicate in writing and using humor. I can sometimes communicate in a speech. I actually think talking about miscommunication like this is exactly what allistic people need to hear.
