We've long held the delusion, via American exceptionalism maybe or just a foggy grasp of history, that somehow no Nazis could take root here. If Trump is re-installed, we are in for a catastrophic dismantling of government and democracy. I wonder how it will play out, with secession by some states, with thugs taking over our police forces, with no more elections...and more that I can't imagine. It's a scary scenario.
