Comparing anyone to fascists or Nazis seems to bring its own wave of problems, but the truth of the Trump movement is that its racist, misogynistics, and worked at every turn to erode rights for the disabled, for foreigners, and for non-Christians. Those were all the people the Nazis targeted, then began murdering. So there is nothing wrong with dropping a friend who buys into this crap. The ex-friend is more concerned with their personal safety & security than with love, tolerance, and working together for the common good. Period.
