Concur. I work as a dispatcher for small town police/fire. Thankfully most of our calls are medical because this is mostly an older population BUT women are often the victims of DV including some of our own dispatchers one of whom was murdered by her psycho boyfriend a few years back. Kids & grandkids of our residents bring drugs and we already have plenty of guns. And all this is in a small town rural place populated by retirees with resources. The number of off leash & barking dogs is another symptom….
