Elon Musk is a disordered individual, not unlike Donald Trump. His competence is deceptive, sustained so far by his success with a single Big Idea. That was making electric cars a reality. A lot of dedicated, talented, passionate, actual geniuses helped him build Tesla. Now that he's a billionaire, he automatically becomes a genius to the bro-hordes, but Musk is not a great human being, by any stretch. His significant flaws seem likely to puncture whatever business acumen he started out with and deflate success as he tries to branch out into non-tech areas.
