Good advice. As a smaller person, though, “five or six pieces of pizza” has never been an option. Two is my limit & I always want three. I’ve learned from experience that bread is my enemy after owning several bread machines…sigh. It’s the crack cocaine of foods and for some of us, worse than sugar. I have heard pasta is slightly less of an issue than bread because of the lower GI. Lately I eat my carbs in the form of grits, oatmeal, or shredded wheat and combine with a protein.
