Hi Jim,

I've had 90 jobs in my life, and managed to earn 2 master's degrees. Neither degree really helped. I relate to the socioeconomic burden--feels like I pay to get "help" (therapy, education) but then can't earn. I've considered applying for SSI/SSDI--mainly to cover the expense of health insurance at $760 each month--but I was a Disability Examiner for four years and I know how hard it is to get, especially when you are so-called "high functioning" ASD. Then again, I wonder if my ridiculous job history would help some psychologist over at Soc Security take my plight seriously. It's frustrating to never figure out how to match up a "special interest" with a job. Thanks for this article.
