Highly relatable. I watched The Day After with my parents, I think I was 17. Grew up as a State Dept brat in No. Va. It just seemed like Reagan would be president forever. Since we graduated in 1984, our yearbook cover was highly Orwellian. Classic Gen X cynic, pretty sure doom is around the next corner.
