I am in the midst of a burnout. The last job I had lasted almost 4 months. It was 28 hours a week as a 911 dispatcher, and I couldn't handle the shift work (I had 9 shifts in the first 3 months, different hours + days), I could've gone full-time but only on the graveyard shift, which would've given me health benefits, but I knew that would be a very bad decision. So I quit, and I don't feel much better--but at least I'm not living on 5 hours of sleep (usually). I am lucky because my husband still works but he is 72 and I am 57 and I am worried I'll never be able to work full-time again. Like you, I've tried online writing and it was a lot of work and somewhat stressful for not great money. I feel for you and hope an opportunity comes your way.
