I appreciate that you are getting the message out about nutrients. I've learned recently that fresh meat is, in fact, highly nutritious and easy to digest. For the last 40 years, red meat and saturated fat have been unfairly and wrongly demonized. To get more protein, vegetables and grains won't help, and neither will supplements. American rates of metabolic diseases--T2 diabetes, cancer, and heart disease--have risen, despite the fact that we eat more fruits, about the same amount of veggies, and many more whole grains...just as has been recommended. Finally, science is acknowledging the low-fat craze limits key nutrients found in saturated fats and meat. If nothing else, anyone seeking better nutrition should limit or eliminate sugar in all forms. Thanks again for bringing this important topic into the light for discussion.
