I doubt she got in her car and drove off without her pager, phone and insulin--even for a short drive. Seemed like a very responsible person and I've never known an adult insulin-dependent diabetic to take off without supplies. Maybe someone she knew called her and came over and she left with that person, against her will? Someone who could get into the house without violence. If she did leave, and only took her medical bag, someone could've pretended they had a medical emergency. I wonder if she habitually kept the medical bag in the car, though?
