I encourage mouth-taping. I've been doing it for 2 years, ever since learning the Buteyko method. It was hard to learn nasal breathing while talking, eating, and exercising but it's worth it. Makes a huge, huge difference with anxiety if you can master 100% nasal breathing and learn breath awareness. They Buteyko method wasn't cheap, so that's another motivate. I hate spending money, so....
