I fear we humans are a bit doomed since we love entertainment but are lazy (i.e. energy conserving) so a 30-second TikTok is going to beat a novel. Whole generations will never read a novel, which reminds me of Winston and his lover in the musty, cozy bookstore apartment in 1984. They were hiding out, long before AI slouched onto the scene.
