I found your story after noticing today that although I have 6.5K followers and wrote a story last week that has 2.2K views and half as many reads -- it's earned me $5.47. WTF? It's a 5 minute read. Another story, with 145 views...has earned me over $7. What the hell is going on??!? My income has dropped from over $1500 a month in summer to about $150 a month now.

It's pissing me off. I don't want to have to go back to the hell that is Upwork to make a living.

Just as bad, the quality of Medium articles has reached a new low. I am writing thoughtful pieces & have plenty of followers, but am making peanuts!
