I have hypothyroidism and my sleep went to hell around age 50. The BEST solution I found was learning to breathe correctly. I also got help by nixing gluten and sugar (and now, all carbs) and using a sleep app to show how well I was sleeping. Went from 4 hours or crappy sleep to 7 hours of deep sleep. It took awhile, but I cannot recommend The Breathing Center (www.breathingcenter.com) highly enough! I do not use a CPAP. All this work to sleep well has led to normal weight and better TSH labs, also. Best of luck to you.
