I know, the situation with traditionally trained doctors is so frustrating. At this point I’m tempted to order blood tests online because it’s easier to get all the tests I need, and my PA is super agreeable. Our healthcare system is there, I remind myself, in case I need trauma care or hospice — or heavy drugs! I desperately wish medical schools would start training docs in nutrition but then again, our current conventional thinking on nutrition is ass-backwards.
