I married someone 15 years older for love. I didn’t have a plan — I was 35. It’s a mixed bag for sure but I don’t think it’s always as simple as “gold digging” or looking for a nurse. I just got off to a very slow start and he was the first guy I met worth marrying. Very glad we didn’t have kids. I think you might be overestimating how many people stumble through life in a daze. Or maybe I’m underestimating how many are ruthless opportunists….
