I pay $635 for health insurance, per month, in the US. I am 56 years old. Every year it goes up. That's over $7,500 a year and a buy it through Obamacare. If you work, you will pay less for premiums. My husband, who is employed and gets Social Security and gets Medicare, pays about $300 a month. Th'at $3,600 per year. Warning to young people: you can pay off your mortgage and your cars, but the bankruptcy protection industry (US health insurance) will get you.
