I purchased Midjourney software a couple of months ago so I could make graphics for my articles. Prior to this, I paid for a monthly subscription to Adobestock. The subscription price is about the same, but the AI option is far better because I can customize each image. It's also more fun....but of course, all those photographers who supply Adobestock with images are affected. If I weren't an underpaid freelance writer, I might consider another option. Unfortunately, I and other freelancers are in a bind. If we use AI we are betraying "the creatives" but if we don't use it we are behind the curve.
