I quit high school teaching for 4 of 5 of these. The only thing the job had going for it was job security. Schools are (often) run by overworked admins who got the hell out of teaching and usually can't help but treat you like you are crazy for still doing it, plus they are massively overworked (did I mention that...oh yeah). Combine admins with some parents and you have the perfect storm for a toxic work culture. The "level of innovation" in schools is low BUT that doesn't keep school districts from piling on nonsensical BS jargon that LOOKS like innovation. #4 is pretty obvious as teacher pay bites, and #5 well, that's no one's fault but many schools got crushed under Covid.
