I think HSPs are neurodivergent in more specific ways. I immediately knew I was HSP but at the same time had trouble with the book (and docu with Alanis Morisette) because it completely missed how much of a struggle so much of my life has been - despite having the "gift" of HSP and a so-called IQ. Autism much better explains things I can't do socially, nor want to do, and how much that's impacted my functionality in life.
