I think keto is finally getting some respect for several reasons, but mainly because Americans have gotten so fat they are desperate to lose weight, followed by diabetics who want their health back, and a close third being youtubers who are showing their results and leading by example. It's frankly criminal that our medical establishment pushes drugs when there is a simple, practical low-carb solution. The myth of red meat as dangerous lives on, meanwhile diabetes educators tell their new patients to "eat less, move more" to lose weight, and push the USDA Pyramid (now known as My Plate).
