I used to be a millennial back when we were called ... well as a GenXer we didn't have cool names. I had way more crappy landlords than good ones. One had me clean the place to military standards before I moved out, then took my entire deposit. It's a major power-imabalance. Now, as a landlady I am very conscientious and bake cookies for my tenants at Christmas and most of all, fix shit. The trouble is, it's a business arrangement. I am incredibly grateful I have good tenants.
