I was feeling this way a few months ago, thinking about the end times. Then I scheduled a trip because my niece was getting married. Even though it canceled due to COVID I'm still driving west to where I used to live in the desert. So now I have something to look forward to. Strangely, I'm also looking forward to meeting my friends' newborn baby, Isaac. I'm definitely NOT a baby person, but I guess that innate biological drive to live is in me because I'm excited for them. The funny thing is, I still read the news and it still sucks.
