I was on a carnivore diet for a year and a half and it improved my mood (stability) significantly. I lost weight easily and kept it off. My labs were excellent: low blood sugar, very high HDL, and very low triglycerides. I didn't feel the need for carbs but it's tough in a society where there is such a variety of food to stick with a strict diet. My favorite aspect of that version of keto was eating only two meals a day without hunger or blood sugar dips/spikes. I can't do that on any other diet. When I went back to "normal" food I gained 20 pounds in a year, so I'm returning to keto but more than just meat & eggs.
