Idiotic management strikes again. There's an article (or series) on this topic. They don't think through how stupid it is to make someone sit at a temporary spot, which erodes a sense of ownership of space and the job itself. It's all about the convenience of the managers, not the productivity (or respect for) the workers. If you are going to come in 2x per week, why not focus the time in a way that optimizes use of a shared space? I'm so frickin' glad I'm retired. I hated this s**t. And--I don't think you have to be an introvert, socially awkward, or anything else to not feel comfortable with this absurdity.
