If it still bleeds, it still ledes. I used to write true crime posts, but gave it up after a while because it was too much of a downer and it was affecting my mental health. Reading and writing about crime is like drinking alcohol--a little might be okay but more than that is poison. I now try to write a "good news" post at least twice a month.
