Important topic. Thanks for writing about your experience. I'm of the opinion that processed foods, fast foods, and too many carbs are all equally problematic for most Americans. Sugar and other quick calorie fixes begin a feedback loop of hunger, craving, hunger... that is hard to see happening, when it's happening to you. I've done better with lower carb, even keto because it eliminates those feelings of needing food. Burn fat, not sugar is my new motto.
