It's time to retire signage in our houses, like reminders such as "Kitchen" that people place in the kitchen, or pillows like that one. It's time to require quotes that are too long to fit on T-shirts being put there anyway. We tell ourselves stories on signs and coffee cups and pillows because we want answers in the form of bumper stickers.
