Joe Biden has spent a lifetime in politics. That doesn’t automatically make him a lackey, anymore than it automatically makes him a leader. Yet, he has succeeded. There is a wide, gaping chasm between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Joe Biden is successful, hard working white male who came up from an ordinary upbringing. Joe Biden has an ordinary amount of empathy. Donald Trump is a successful, hard working white male who was born into privilege. Donald Trump doesn’t have an ounce of empathy. Does it matter that Joe Biden came from the working class and Donald Trump from the aristocracy. No — what matters is one is human and the other is incapable of ever understanding your problems or mine. It isn’t about wealth, it’s about a highly dysfunctional, morally bankrupt, vile human being who is the boss of all of us. Stop asking the democrats to produce a superstar and to fix our collective misogyny. We need to compromise, and Bernie wasn’t that. Joe Biden is, and thankfully he is NOT an incompetent bully.
