Last time I brought this topic up it got shut down, after leading to a contentious debate over what the REAL source of the problems with humanity are. Later, I realized it's like bringing up politics or religion. People begin to take sides. And this was with family members who share the same politics with me. Denial is the stage most people are in. They believe it's just one more problem among many--COVID, the economy, a dvided nation. It all blends into one "things are crappy" scenario. But what the hell, I'll probably keep bringing it up.
