Low fat diets work. "All diets are bad" assumes you can't eat any diet....instead: default to what you want to eat, or eat a "mixed diet" of carbs, fat, and protein and hope for the best. We aren't getting fatter from diets, we are getting fatter from far too many carbs--the one non-essential macronutrient.

It is most accurate to say nearly all diets don't work, because of the sheer number of "fad" diets.

Low carb isn't a fad. It's been around since the Ice Age. It's the OG of diets, the natural human diet.

Everyone has to eat a diet. It's a matter of choosing one that is nutrititious and sustainable. Low carb diets high in meat, fat with some veg are excellent for weight loss, T1 and T2 diabetes, and metabolic diseases. The research clearly shows such diets promote sustainable weight loss, by a big advantage of low-fat diets.
