Our culture has become steeped in the worship of "great men" to the point where we've elected one as President who has the usual (superficial) qualifications: rich, white, male, tall, aggressive, and "productive" -- all on the surface. We can't seem to see past this hole (chasm?) we've dug for ourselves. The point of life is enjoyment and other people, and if we were all living ordinary lives the world would be far more peaceful, safe and healthy.
