Positive role models who fight and win, especially women and people of color, are good for us all to see. There have been too few. No one wants to be pigeon-holed but it’s also okay to acknowledge the actual heroism of many black women because it’s real. I just wish we could see more Biopics & am waiting for the day someone tells Zoe’s Neale Hurston’s story. We old people who are women who aren’t black like movies for adults.
