Sounds like tradwiffery is having kids + a bonus kid, your husband. Bad for women, bad for men, and bad for the human race. But it's a nice story because you, the trad wife, also never need to grow up and make your own decisions. And it fits quite nicely with the Christian patriarchal fairy tale.
