Thanks for a terrific article about the science behind eating fat. The anti-fat movement, AKA mainstream nutrition, is still strong, despite the growing grassroots keto and carnivore movements. Humans have done nicely on high-fat diets, as evidenced by traditional Eskimos and most (if not all) of the tribes observed by Weston A. Price in his classic Nutrition and Physical Degeneration. Keto is called a fad, but its adherents have real health benefits and can maintain the diet, unlike the proven ineffective low-fat diets that have been touted for 40+ years.
