Thanks for explaining the concept of hormonal weight gain in plain English. Had a similar happy experience with weight loss after going carnivore. Went from my lowest weight as an adult (121) to 108, where I am now, after about 6 weeks of eating meat, fat, salt and water. I did it for health reasons, but the weight vanished and hasn't come back. I'm going into week 11. I supplement with beef liver, bone marrow, and bone broth to make sure I get my vitamins and minerals. I didn't even know it was possible to go as low as 108 (I am 5'4" female, 56 y/o). My blood glucose is typically in the 60s to 70s and I'm staying in ketosis.
