Thanks for the excellent article explaining how the calorie model is oh so wrong!
The American College of Cardiology came out last year with a statement that saturated fat isn't unhealthy and doesn't cause heart disease, yet we as a nation have been browbeaten over 4 decades to believe red meat is dangerous, grains are healthy, and weight loss means no fat!
It's great to read an article that breaks it down for people who are open minded enough to understand the terrible limitations of the USDA Dietary Guidelines, and how they have led us astray into the land of obesity and diabetes.
