Thanks for this interesting perspective. I would add two more Alzheimer's prevention strategies: quit sugar and get into ketosis. You can quit sugar and still eat carbs, or go one better and try the keto diet. Research is showing that Alzheimer's brains are starved for fuel (glucose) because of insulin resistance, so the alt fuel is ketones.
