Thanks for writing this--it is information that needs wider dissemination as more and more research studies show the value of the keto diet.
Carb problems should be widespread truth but due to the faulty USDA Dietary Guidelines and poor advice from AHA, ADA, and other large organizations, carbs continued to be pushed as part of a "healthy diet" while red meat and saturated fat continue to be demonized. The Food Pyramid should be turned upside down. The commenters here don't seem to understand that while this isn't breaking news, it continues to be actively supressed by most doctors and nutritionists, who are poorly educated about proper diet. Carbs aren't a necessary macronutrient and it's very easy to overeat on them--hence our continuing and growing obesity and diabetes problems.
