Thanks for your article, I remember this story. It's interesting to know more about what exactly happened. Sounds like it was impossible to prevent this because he'd always been pretty well-behaved. Also sounds like Travis experienced a great deal of trauma right before the attack what with losing most of his family, and went into major protection mode to save the only person left--Sandra. I had no idea Travis was so huge...always thought of them as being in the 100-lb range.
