Thanks for your response. Writing this article helped me finally understand something about myself. All kinds of stimuiants can throw me off, including too many tasks, too much social interaction, caffeine, breathing patterns, food, etc--BUT it feels good to be slightly manic, so I keep indulging in it (automatically). Hopefully, I'll figure out an actionable habit (or three) to short circruit my automatic/default "run around like a headless chicken" mode. I suspect I am not alone.
