The documentary "The Factory" really opened my eyes on this topic. The Chinese workers worked harder. Sure, their labor force is vast, but overall they took hard work in stride. Here in the US, we don't want to work. Not that you can blame people, when real wages keep falling.

The Chinese are also much better at working together. They can live side by side in apartments and more or less get along with the help of organizational policies. Here in America, we don't want to cooperate because that would be "Socialism." They aren't gunning each other down in the streets, either. The list goes on.
