The world of discrimination slides quietly beyond gender and race yet until you step into the Bad Category it's hard to fully appreciate. I'm in my mid-fifties....IF I color my hair I might get a look past the first interview but usually not. Gray-haired? No one is interested. And first interviews are as rare as an albino moose anyway because I was born during the time when they (we) used rotary phones. The horrors! We are such superficial creatures, who cannot see past the surface, past a few data points on a page.
