Then there's the possibility of doing less with less. Like when I go out to eat and have truly mind-boggling poor service because of staff shortages, zero training, etc. Or when I can't get a part for my AC system for four months. No complaints--these aren't life shattering...but they don't give me faith in a stronger economy. "Doing more with less" is classic mgmt gaslighting-speak.
