There are a lot of DSM criteria that are plain unhelpful. They've barely budged, they are clinically cold, and they mostly describe white boys. They aren't a good set of criteria for adults. No mention of burnout, hyperlexia, appropriate "special interests" or all the ways we turn ourselves into social pretzels (especially as AFAB) to blend in.
