This Blair Adams case is truly freaky. So many questions. Why couldn't he get across the border (why not hide the money?). If Canadian authorities wouldn't let him across the border, he wasn't making much of an effort. Hide the cash or better yet, write yourself a cashier's check...anyway, what's with carrying gold and jewels...why not convert it? I suppose intense fear, if he was indeed in fear for his life, would cause poor thinking (including buying a one-way ticket). But the weirdest part is the motive which seems tied up with money (why does a construction worker have so much money?) yet money is left scattered around the scene. Whoever killed him figured it wasn't worth it to take jewels and that makes sense, they could be traced. But cash? Guess the killer was in a hurry. I must know more about this case.
